Recommended High School Language (french, latin, spanish, german, ASL)?

I’m not sure what language to take next year. im currently a freshmen in high school. I don’t really want to take Latin or German… i really want to take ASL(American Sign Language), but my friends say that not many colleges and universities accept ASL as a foreign language credit :[ i sort of want to take French, maybe. I live in Texas btw, and i plan on going to a university here.
Can anyone recommend the best language choice?
if they had mandarin chinese i'd sooo take it >_<

French. it's easy and good to know.
spanish is also good to know, but for me, it gets boring.
