Sign language for toddlers?
I have a mother of a little boy in my class who asked me for some information on sign language because her son is not talking much but starting to sign so she is wanting to learn it and wanting to do it with him at home. I told her I would make copies for her that she could use at home. I had a book of basic toddler signs that I was going to make copies of for her but I havent used it in ages since I know the signs and it seems that someone has taken my book but no one knows where it is. So I am lookng for good web sites with printables that I can give her. I have the alphabet printed out already. But need the other basics-milk,more,please,thank you, boy, girl, animals, etc. Is there any web site where I can print out these or most of them at least??? PLEASE HELP!!!
You could tell her she can find sign language books at like a book store that way she can teach herself. Thats how I learned how to do sign language. I got my books from a Christian bookstore. The main one I use is “The Joy of Signing”. I don’t know any website to give you cause I’ve looked all over the internet for some for myself and I didn’t have any luck. I hope this will help you a little.
