How does ASL(American Sign Language) compare to a spoke language like English or Spanish?
ASL, like English and Spanish, is it’s own language. It has a different grammar, syntax, and structure than any other language. It is more visual than any other language because it depends on facial expressions to denote the meaning of most signs and sentences.
So, it is pretty much nothing like any spoken language.
